The Technique

Riso printing is a stencil-based technique that blends the charm of screen printing with the precision of modern duplicators. Each layer of color is printed separately, creating rich textures and unique variations that make every print one of a kind. Please note that riso printing implies organic textures which makes every print unique. 

The Artist

Bree Chapin is a figurative painter and visual artist based between New York City and Lisbon. She began her artistic career on the Lower East Side of New York in 2013 as a member of the now-disbanded ConArtist Collective. Her fine artwork has been exhibited regularly for over a decade in New York and beyond (exhibition list) including several solo exhibitions and showcases. In 2023 Bree moved her main practice from East Harlem to Lisbon Portugal. She balances her time between these two cities, drawing inspiration from the two vibrant capitals. Her original artworks are included in several private collections and large scale murals are installed in public spaces around the world.
