The Technique

The Artist

Maria Giovanna Mura is an Italian illustrator based in Lisbon. Her background spans architecture, illustration, and theater — disciplines that continually intersect and inform her creative practice. Drawing inspiration from memory and the everyday, particularly its unexpected and quietly funny moments, Mura's illustrations are marked by warmth, humor, and lightness. Above all, her work invites a genuine dialogue with the viewer, drawing them into her playful, observant world.
