About the Artist

Julie Macuacua Laugier, known as “Fresque.”, is an illustrator and graphic designer. Her work explores the construction of identity and the way we perceive ourselves and present ourselves to others. She mainly draws solitary characters, through which she explores inner states, emotions, and the relationship to oneself. Proportions play a central role in her practice: oversized feet, reduced heads, or shifted bodies slightly disrupt reality and draw the eye. Read more about Fresque →

About Risograph Printing
